Where is the White Desert located?
The White Desert is located in the Western Desert of Egypt, within a nature reserve called the White Desert Protectorate, and is located between two famous oases: Bahariya Oasis and Farafra Oasis. Distances: From Cairo to the White Desert: Approximately 500 km (approximately 5 to 6 hours by car) via the Western Desert Highway. From Farafra to the White Desert: Only about 40 km (approximately half an hour to an hour by car). From Bahariya Oasis to the White Desert: Approximately 180 km (approximately 3 to 4 hours by car, depending on the route).
